Role Summary Sr. Technician Teleport Facility Infrastructure is responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. They have to b e ready to provide support and respond to alarms in a timely manner in order to meet the teleport standard SLA and support On-Call service outside of normal business hours. Location: Raisting / Onsite Regular Shift. Fluent written and spoken German language is a pre-requisite. What You’ll Be Doing Main responsibilities and tasks in this role are the following:

• Plan and coordinate installations and refurbishments, perform preventive and corrective maintenance for the teleport facility systems, including but not limited to the following:
• UPS and Battery systems
• HVAC systems
• Low and medium-voltage infrastructure
• Emergency Diesel Generators and fuel tanks infrastructure
• Cranes and lifting systems
• Fire alarms systems and hydrants
• Ground and lightning protection systems
• Facility monitoring systems
• Gate and electronic access systems
• Heating systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Lighting infrastructure
• Water management systems
• Keep a company mobile phone to be on-call to respond to alerts, alarms and emergencies;
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
• Carrying out daily inspections on critical infrastructure, including data collection and evaluation
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
• Work with external contractors on facility maintenance activities
• Overall responsible for Housekeeping of technical rooms

Required Qualifications

• Good solid experience within facilities management and building operations
• At least 3 years experience performing facility maintenance activities in teleports or datacenter facilities.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• Local official certifications and permissions in Germany to operate and maintain low and medium-voltage infrastructure and HVAC systems

Skills/Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken German language is a pre-requisite.
• Proficient in English.
• Highly motivated with the ability to operate without direct supervision.
• Customer oriented (internal and external customers)
• Flexible to adapt to a fast-changing environment and priorities, self-organized, problem-solving skills, technical background, cross-cultural communications skills.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Betrieb, Instandhaltung und Reparatur der technischen Gebäudeinfrastruktur.
• Dazu gehören unter anderem folgende Systeme und Anlagen:
• Nieder- und Mittelspannungsanlagen
• USV-Systeme
• Lüftungs- und Klimaanlagen
• Diesel-Notstromaggregate und Kraftstofftanks
• Kräne und Hebesysteme
• Brandmeldeanlagen (BMA) und Hydrantensysteme
• Erdungs- und Blitzschutzsysteme
• Gebäudeleittechnik
• Heizungssysteme
• Innen- und Außenbeleuchtung
• Wasserversorgungsanlagen
• Tore und elektrische Zugangssysteme
• Planung und Koordination von Umbauten, Erweiterungen und Modernisierungsmaßnahmen
• Koordination und Überwachung von externen Dienstleistern und Fremdfirmen
• Teilnahme an der Rufbereitschaft zur Beseitigung zeitkritischer Störungen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachabteilungen

Ihr Profil:

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im elektrotechnischen Bereich (z. B. Elektroniker, Mechatroniker o. Ä.), gerne mit Weiterbildung zum staatlich geprüften Techniker
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einem vergleichbaren technischen Umfeld
• Gutes technisches Verständnis und Erfahrung in der systematischen Fehlersuche
• Bereitschaft zur Teilnahme an der Rufbereitschaft
• Bereitschaft zur fachlichen Weiterbildung
• Eigenverantwortliche, strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Englischkenntnisse zur Verständigung im internationalen Team
