About the role
Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (3-4 days a week) Contract Length: 6 Months
Must have skills
3+ years of experience in Python development or DevOps roles 2+ years working with Unix/Linux systems administration Proficiency in Python (intermediate to advanced level) Familiarity with DBT Tool.
Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub)
Knowledge of SQL and database management Experience with SAS programming and analytics Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field Strong soft skills are essential
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience in Capital Markets or Commercial Banking is a significant - Nice to Have.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Ansible) Experience with monitoring and logging tools
