We are currently seeking a full-time temporary (18 months) Business Unit Analyst to join our team!
Hybrid role, on-site requirement 3 days/week
Location - 165 Galaxy Blvd., Toronto, ON (Pearson Airport Area)
The pay range for this role is $ 75,000.00 - $90,000.00
Placement within this range will be determined based on market benchmarks and will reflect the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, professional expertise and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.
This position is an existing vacancy within the organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead the budgeting and forecasting processfor assigned business units, including coordinating with key stakeholders, reviewing submissions, and analyzing financial performance against forecasts and prior results -Develop and maintain internal financial reporting and KPIs(e.g., sales, margin, profitability) to support business performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making -Conduct financial analysis and modelingto evaluate business strategies, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to senior management -Manage corporate reporting for sales and gross margin, ensuring accuracy of net sales, cost of goods, rebates, and gross-to-net calculations prior to submission to corporate -Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting automation, and cross-functional initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or diploma in business or accountancy with an accounting designation completed (CPA, CMA, CGA)
- Experience in a fast paced pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within financial planning & analysis role is preferred
- Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new programs quickly and use them efficiently intermediate or higher knowledge of Excel
- Prior experience with integrated business systems such as SAP & TM1 is an asset
