Job Description Are you passionate about driving equipment performance, optimizing maintenance strategies, and leading impactful technical projects? Join our team as a Reliability Technologist and play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and improving maintenance and reliability initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical projects from concept to completion, and provide expert support to ensure our equipment meets all performance and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities Lead and Support Maintenance & Reliability Activities
- Partner with Maintenance Inspectors and Reliability Engineers to exceed internal customer expectations.
- Conduct in-depth inspections and supervise equipment testing.
- Analyze vendor documentation and reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with contractors and consultants to enhance predictive maintenance and online monitoring systems.
Drive Technical Projects
- Manage equipment and technical projects from design through commissioning.
- Develop budgets, timelines, and coordinate logistics, installations, and training.
- Ensure smooth handovers to production teams and maintain high standards in safety, quality, and delivery.
Analyze and Optimize

Perform data analysis on spare parts, trends, and processes to uncover cost-saving and reliability-enhancing opportunities.

Lead or support initiatives such as:

PI online monitoring projects

Data visualization using tools like Tableau and Power BI

CMMS implementation and upgrades

HVAC system improvements
Ensure Compliance and Performance
- Guarantee equipment meets all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide technical support across instrumentation, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
- Manage subcontractors and audit systems to ensure project success and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Certified Engineering Technologist in Instrumentation, PLCs, Robotics, Hydraulics, and/or HVAC.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Training in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a strong asset.
- Proven expertise in instrumentation, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, or HVAC.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with CMMS and SQL databases is a plus.
