Why this role matters
As Morning Supervisor, you help set the tone for the guest experience each day by leading breakfast and early lunch service with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail. You support the team on the floor, stay close to the operation, and help ensure service flows smoothly across the dining room, room service, and event spaces.
You lead by example, communicate clearly, and respond quickly to operational needs throughout the shift. Acting as a key connection between service, culinary, and leadership teams, you help create an environment where both guests and team members feel supported and cared for.
A day in the life
- Lead daily service across the Dining Room, Room Service, and Event spaces
- Manage shift flow, labour coverage, and real-time adjustments based on business volume
- Oversee on-floor execution of group dining and events, ensuring BEOs are clearly understood and delivered as planned
- Communicate closely with the kitchen on timing, allergies, and special requests
- Address operational challenges quickly, including space, staffing, and equipment needs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and provincial liquor regulations
- Monitor service and guest interactions throughout each shift, handling feedback and recovery directly
- Build guest rapport and look for opportunities to elevate the experience
- Maintain strong knowledge of food, beverage, and allergens to support both staff and guest decision-making
- Provide real-time coaching, training, and feedback to support team growth and consistency
- Support new hire onboarding and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture
- Lead engaging pre-shift meetings that align, inform, and energize the team
- Stay familiar with POS systems, menu changes, and daily reporting tasks
- Ensure all team members are following current resort standards, protocols, and procedures

- Supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- A calm, confident, and solutions-focused leadership style
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, guest-focused approach
- Solid understanding of POS systems, service flow, event logistics, and BC hospitality regulations
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest and operational needs
- Serving It Right and FoodSafe certification
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
