Seasonal General Labour - Nature's Touch Frozen Foods (West)**

Nature's Touch Frozen Foods (West) is ramping up for our busy summer harvest - and we want YOU on our team!
We're hiring Seasonal General Labourers for all shifts and all days of the week. If you love hands‑on work, enjoy staying busy, and want to be part of a friendly, supportive, fast‑moving environment, this is the place to be.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day will bring something new as you help keep our production floor moving smoothly and safely. Your tasks may include:
Tote & Production Support
- Building totes using large plastic siding
- Installing liners into totes to prepare them for fresh fruit
- Using pallet jacks to move empty and full totes to designated areas
- Ensuring totes are filled correctly and labels are accurate
- Weighing full totes and staging them properly
- Assisting in prep activities: staging pallets, setting up totes, organizing materials
Fruit Inspection & Quality Support
- Standing at a conveyor belt inspecting fruit for foreign materials
- Sorting through fruit to remove stems, plastic, wood, or other debris
- Ensuring fruit is dumped safely into proper containers
Forklift & Material Handling
(For qualified team members)
- Loading/unloading products from ground level and heights using a forklift
- Moving totes and pallets in/out of racking
- Relocating materials to safe zones using pallet jacks
General Facility Support
- Keeping your area clean and free of debris
- Completing equipment safety checks before use
- Communicating any issues to Leads or Supervisors
- Supporting other tasks as assigned - teamwork makes the harvest happen!
What You Bring
- Good comprehension of English
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 15 kg
- Solid mobility - you're comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, or squatting
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and reliability (we count on each other!)
Safety First!
We take safety seriously - and so will you.
- Slip‑resistant steel‑toe shoes/boots required
- Warm-up/stretching recommended before and after shifts
- Use proper lifting and handling techniques
- Keep work areas clean and clutter‑free
- Stay aware of surroundings (forklifts, pallet jacks, coworkers, etc.)
- Rotate tasks to reduce strain
