No Hero is a creative co-development studio specializing in beautifully crafted and brand-focused UX/UI for Video Games.
We're growing our design team and are looking for a world-class UI Artist (Full-time/Contract) to join. In this role you'll craft high quality UI for Indie, AA, and AAA titles while providing support to our brand and creative ventures.
We look for the wild hearted and focused crafters. We show up, push the boundaries of UX/UI within games, and collaborate with each other to overcome challenges. We chase the thrill of discovering creative solutions from big ideas to small pixel pushed details. We take responsibility for our craft, are contagiously curious, and always build each other up. At the center of it all, we stay motivated by the goal of putting our partners, together with us, at the top of the industry. Responsibilities
Design compelling and engaging user interfaces across all game systems Create and deliver high-fidelity mockups, design systems, iconography, interaction concepts, in-game UI assets, and marketing materials. Collaborate closely with UX designers, motion designers, engineers, and external development partners. Prepare presentations and communicate designs to internal and external teams. Advocate for the player experience while balancing design goals, technical constraints, and production requirements. Rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback and project needs. Help establish and maintain UI standards across multiple projects. Contribute to documentation, workflows, design reviews, and team discussions. Adapt to a variety of game genres, visual styles, and development pipelines. Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a UI Artist/Designer working in games or interactive media. Strong portfolio demonstrating brand and user-centered UI, creative problem-solving, and a solid understanding of design fundamentals. Excellent visual design skills, including layout, hierarchy, typography, composition, and information design. Experience creating UI mockups, and polished in-game assets. Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Photoshop. Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Passion for video games and graphic design
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Familiarity with Unreal Engine and game UI implementation workflows. Previously worked at creative agencies or co-development studios. Experience designing for PC and console games. Experience creating motion design, UI animation, or prototypes.
