Location Address: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto Number of Openings: 1 Pay: $83,275.00 - $149,941.00 Job Posting Description: This is a onsite role #LI-Onsite Secondment/Contract: Duration of 12 months The Senior Manager, Quality Services Optimization is responsible for leading and managing Quality Services business process improvements and optimization initiatives across the LCBO network in a dynamic and evolving marketplace. This role will serve as the project manager for Quality Assurance on the ERP development and implementation project team, overseeing the design and integration of quality systems across all business functions. This leader will support the transformation of the Quality Management framework and the integration of Quality Assurance legacy systems into the new ERP platform. A key focus will be on project management, data structures, and reporting mechanisms for product recalls, product non-compliance management, and corrective actions, ensuring all Quality Assurance processes meet applicable regulatory requirements and are ISO 9001-compliant. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Logistics, Merchandising, Wholesale Grocery, Retail, Marketing, and Finance to ensure that all quality assurance programs are seamlessly executed throughout the business transformation. About the Role Project Leadership Lead Quality Assurance workstream for ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements. Manage full project lifecycle including timelines, milestones, risks, testing, and deliverables. Define and translate business needs into functional system requirements and technical solutions. Oversee system design, integration, testing, and deployment of quality modules. Develop and deliver project documentation, including SOPs, training materials, and user guides. Provide leadership in risk assessment, system validation, and change readiness. Process Optimization & Transformation Lead end-to-end optimization and digitization of quality processes across all business channels. Map, redesign, and integrate legacy QA processes into ERP workflows. Ensure all process improvements are aligned with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Health Canada, CFIA, FDA) and ISO 9001 standard requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality data across procurement, logistics, distribution, and customer service. Drive change management by identifying required process adjustments, securing functional and leadership alignment, and ensuring smooth adoption. Ensure timely execution of deliverables aligned with service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and stakeholder expectations. Risk, Compliance & Data Enablement Establish robust monitoring, traceability, and audit-ready systems for quality events. Enhance CAPA, recall, and non-compliance management processes through ERP capabilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and continuous audit readiness of quality records within the ERP. Develop advanced reporting and dashboards using tools such as Power BI. Leverage data and analytics to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency. Champion and deliver governance, documentation, and SOP standardization across Quality Services. About You Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain Management, or other related field Certificates in Project management 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Supply Chain Operations. planning and system implementations Experienced project and program management experiences for 4+years Experience in SAP ERP implementation, with a focus on quality modules and system integration. Experience of regulatory compliance, recall management, and ISO 9001 standards. Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into system requirements and quality solutions. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent project management, analytical, and leadership skills. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize to produce quality results in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional and multi-site environments. Preferred: Graduate degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain or Operations 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives Proven experience in SAP ERP implementation and program delivery, with a focus on quality modules and system integration. Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, CAPA systems, recall management, and ISO 9001 standards. Experience in regulated industries such as food, beverage, healthcare, or consumer goods is an asset. Project management PMP or other certification.
