Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manger, this Administrative Associate provides support to the plant and office. This position is multifaceted, great for someone who loves being busy and wearing multiple hats. Normal reporting work hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
This position offers a competitive wage, health & dental benefits, performance incentive, and retirement contributions.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the plant including but not limited to:
- 
- Support site supply chain activities <$20,000 including managing contracts, vendors, purchase orders and credit card purchases.
- Provide support during budget reporting and annual budget development cycles.
- Manage inventory and warehouse through annual counts, min/max levels, tagging.
- Coordinate and oversee required services and supplies: housekeeping, printer servicing, coverall services, floor mats, lunchroom, and restroom consumables.
- Front office support, maintain sign-in documentation, receive visitors and direct general enquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain up-to-date database of key contacts/staff contacts/emergency contacts.
- Schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, editing and preparation of presentations.
- Support filing and storage of records, reports, training documentation, SharePoint, etc.
- Site vehicle management: service, tire change, documentation, etc.
- Mail, couriers, shipping and receiving.
- Maintain Plant Managers calendar/email by prioritizing and tracking items for follow-up, some of these items may contain confidential and labour relations information.
- Required to exercise discretion and confidentiality in dealing with employee and plant related information when interacting with other employees.
- Support Atura corporate business needs as identified for base location.
- Organize and oversee public engagement events.
- Other duties as required.
 
Qualifications & Education
- 
Post Secondary education, College diploma or University 
- 
Experience in Business Administration, Office Management, or Executive Assistant 
- 
Experience with Maximo or similar work management tool as asset 
- 
Strong communication skills, written and verbal 
- 
Strong MS Office skills 
- 
People person, team player, ready to participate 
Additional Requirements:
- 
Have and Maintain a G driver’s license 
- 
Personal Vehicle, the plant is not TTC accessible 
- 
This is an in-person role, 5 days Monday to Friday
