Descriptif mission
Define Requirements applicable to the steering and landing gear mechanisms. Definition of component level requirements and SOW to support Steering and Landing Gear System Requirements. Definition of Steering and Landing Gear Control System and Software / Hardware control definition Develop Static and dynamic system models for Steering and Landing Gear Control interfaces Prepare Interface Control Documents for electrical and hydraulic actuation and control systems Involvement in existing programs and proposals. Carry out trade studies to establish preferred systems components based on safety, performance and aircraft level requirements. Responsible for meeting the performance and safety requirements. Responsible to ensure requirements are being satisfied and manage them in accordance with ARP 4754 Prepare technical presentations for the customer including coordination of the supplier input. Assist Procurement with contract negotiations. Conduct/coordinate review of supplier technical documentation. Participate in test and development including integrated testing of aircraft systems as required. Assist in the preparation/review of certification documentation as applicable to the landing gear system, subsystems and components. Specialization: Electrical Systems Engineering Defined Systems Electrical Requirements Develop Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams Analyze Customer Requirements and propose electrical design solutions for Steering and Landing Control and Actuation Systems. Support Electrical Component design and/or source selection
Special emphasis on Steering Control Systems is desired. Familiarity with Landing Gear mechanics including actuators, uplocks and downlocks, steering configuration and geometry. In-depth knowledge and experience of development guidelines ARP-4754/4761 and RTCA DO-178/DO-254. Exposure to, MATLAB/Simulink or MathCAD is an asset Experience with DOORS requirements management software is an asset Understanding and ability to apply safety, reliability and maintainability concepts Knowledge of applicable aerospace standards and airworthiness requirements Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics or Engineering Science More than 8 years work experience Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Specialized Knowledge: -Defined Systems Electrical Requirements -Develop Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams -Analyze Customer Requirements and propose electrical design solutions for Steering and Landing Control and Actuation Systems. -Support Electrical Component design and/or source selection Feeling hesitant because you don't meet all of the job requirements?
