Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Contract & Procurement Professional with a background in large infrastructure programs to work within our Program Management group. This is a position requiring excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of an integrated Stantec-Client multi-discipline team to successfully deliver capital projects.
The Contract & Procurement Professional would be accountable for supporting low to medium complexity procurement processes and contract administration in delivering assigned outcomes related to the execution of project supply chain strategies, sourcing strategies and/or sourcing activities following established processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of consultant contracts for the NSSWTP.
- Ensuring invoices are received, reviewed, processed and paid in a timely manner.
- Receiving and distribution of consultant invoices for review and approvals.
- Tracking and reporting costs.
- Administration of consultant agreements including determining scope of work, writing award letters, modifying contracts and coordination with Metro Vancouver Finance Department.
- Provide administrative support to the NS Commercial & Procurement Teams. This may include data entry and extraction, internal reporting, updating meeting minutes, claims & changes coordination.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong ability to plan, organize work and maintain policies and procedures.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize the various activities to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement and contract development concepts and practices.
- Must possess high ethical and professional standards in all dealings with vendors.
Education and Experience
- Demonstrated minimum two (2) years of procurement and contract administration experience.
- Education or certification in Business Administration or equivalent is considered an asset.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Construction Management Team
Pay Range
- Locations in Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $ 61,900.00 - Max Salary $ 86,700.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
