The Opportunity

Are you a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience and grow in the field of finance? As we continue with our aggressive growth strategy, we are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance, this will be a part-time position, Monday-Friday, at our SE Edmonton office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ad hoc financial and data analysis as requested.
• Assist with account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
• Support year-end closing activities, including data validation and report preparation.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support management insights.
• Organize and maintain financial records and analysis files for easy reference.
• Collaborate with team members to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
• Assist in Procore System Management

What we are looking for

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics (preferred).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Availability to start immediately
