About the role
About Revenue Management Labs
Revenue Management Labs is a boutique pricing consultancy dedicated to helping organizations unlock revenue and margin potential. Our work spans pricing strategy, execution, and enablement across a wide range of industries. We’re now building a research function to power our pricing recommendations with deeper customer, product, and value-based insights.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Research Specialist to help establish and grow our in-house research capability. You’ll design and execute pricing research studies, such as conjoint, Van Westendorp, and scorecard-based assessments, and translate insights into practical pricing actions.
This is not a high-level oversight role; we’re looking for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, building surveys, running models, and presenting results. You’ll have support from our team of generalist consultants and associates, but you’ll lead the research vision and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantitative pricing research studies, including: Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC), Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, and Price Sensitivity Meter
- Build and refine pricing scorecards, segmentation models, and Willingness to Pay ( WTP) frameworks
- Collaborate with consulting teams to translate findings into pricing strategy
- Program and field surveys via tools such as Sawtooth, Qualtrics, or Conjointly
- Analyze data using R, Python, Excel, or other tools to estimate utilities, simulate scenarios, and visualize insights
- Prepare and deliver compelling reports and presentations for internal and client stakeholders
- Help build repeatable processes, templates, and best practices to scale the research function
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience conducting quantitative pricing or product research
- Strong understanding of conjoint analysis, price testing methodologies, and experimental design
- Proficiency with survey tools (e.g., Sawtooth, Qualtrics, Conjointly) and analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, Excel)
- Ability to independently manage research projects from design through delivery
- Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to explain technical concepts to business leaders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Market Research, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience working in or with a consulting firm or agency
- Familiarity with customer segmentation, revenue optimization, and pricing strategy
- Comfort interacting with client stakeholders and supporting business development efforts
Why Join Revenue Management Labs
- Build a research function from the ground up, with support from a high-performing consulting team
- Work on impactful pricing projects across industries, clients, and markets
- Be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values ownership and initiative
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development
