About the role
Responsibilities Coordinate selling efforts to grow new and incremental sales with the Target Account list:
In-Sight! Phone Contacts
Organize and execute targeted selling events
Develop a strategy to grow sales & profits to customers and identify items or product categories that require specific attention in support of this strategy:
Add new accounts to the Target Account list
Collect reliable customer/territory information and estimate individual customer potential
Handle customer complaints within lines of authority and manage process to resolution
Identify ways to deepen the business relationship with your customers
Determine where the customer is in the overall Sales Process and what steps are necessary to move the process along
Qualifications Required:
- Experience as an S-W Assistant Store Manager, Operations Manager, or Store Manager, or comparable non-SW sales/customer service experience
- Completed training certification for current position (if required)
- Minimum performance review rating of "3" (Standard)

Sales experience in coatings or related fields

Time management and customer service skills

Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see constantly

Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Must be able to climb stairs, bend, reach, push, and pull occasionally

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing

May work indoors/outdoors with exposure to heat (up to 120°F) and cold (down to 0°F)

May be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and hazardous materials

Must tolerate non-toxic paint odors and wear a respirator if required

Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone

Travel required to customer offices and job sites

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be able to work all scheduled hours

Must obtain appropriate insurance as defined by Corporate Policy

Required: High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g., GED)

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
Up to 50% or more travel may be required
