Job Description

Core DevOps and Automation Skills

• Extensive experience deploying applications on AWS Cloud and Linux platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

Cloud Migration and Containerization

• Experience migrating applications from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Experience deploying Docker container-based applications.
• Experience deploying multitier applications in Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift/OKD environments.

Scripting and Infrastructure as Code

• Hands-on experience with shell scripting.
• Experience writing Jenkins/Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, and YAML scripts.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

AWS and Platform Engineering

• Experience with AWS services, including EC2 instances, route tables, load balancers, EKS, containers, platform-as-a-service databases, storage accounts, and key vaults.
• Experience with AWS Database Migration Service.
• Experience deploying microservices on OpenShift.
• Experience deploying Docker container-based applications.
• Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters.

CI/CD, Build, and Release Management

• Expertise in AWS CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Ability to design and support build, deployment, and configuration management systems for multitier Java/.NET applications using Git and AWS CI/CD.
• Experience setting up and managing automated build and deployment processes for multiple .NET and Python development environments.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and Bitbucket Actions.
• Experience configuring SonarQube and Fortify.
• Experience managing Node.js and Java releases.

Application and Deployment Experience

• End-to-end implementation experience with Java- and PHP-based projects.
• Strong knowledge of application servers.
• Experience with mobile application build and deployment architecture.
• Working experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

Additional Scripting Requirements

• Experience writing Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, and YAML scripts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and batch scripting.

Good-to-Have Experience

• Experience with or exposure to BigCommerce applications.
• Exposure to AWS CloudFormation templates or Terraform implementations.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Architecture.
