Responsibilities:
- Provide full cycle recruitment, from job description to final offer – ensuring we attract and recruit new members that will add to our culture and business success
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace, participating in JHSCs, workplace inspections, managing safety training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Manage onboarding experience, collaborating with other managers and supervisors to ensure successful and positive onboarding experiences
- Manage the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and easy access to users, ensuring full and complete document management
- Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Work collaboratively in maintaining and driving a people focused company, striving for excellence, inclusion, and diversity.
- Constantly think of ways that we can improve the employee experience
- Manage off-boarding process, exit interviews and administrative requirements
- Support with strategic projects and contribute to overall HR policy and organizational development
- Implement and administer performance review programs, providing guidance and support
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role working 3-4 days per week in the facilities – both Etobicoke and Downtown Toronto

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year. The salary will reflect your experience, skills and perspective you bring to the role. Throughout the interview process we take a thoughtful and transparent approach to compensation, balancing market data, internal equity and the impact that you’ll have on our business
Skills and Experience:
- Human Resources Degree or post-graduate education in Human Resources, that includes health and safety module/certificate
- 1- 2 years of work experience preferably in either manufacturing or hospitality
- Detail oriented, with timely and accurate reporting ability
- Strong interpersonal skills, easily builds rapport with employees at all levels, communicates clearly and respectfully. Has a confident approach, with ability to influence others
- Exceptionally organized, multi tasker with ability to adhere to deadlines and follow-ups
- Problem Solver, can think creatively to resolve issues, defuse situations and balance the employees’ needs and company’s interest
- You must care about creating a positive working environment, and ongoing improvement of our employee experience
- Must be trustworthy and discreet, act with integrity and champion diversity, equity and inclusion
