The Data & Insights Specialist will play an important role in collecting, analyzing, reporting and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. This role will work with all departments at Kensington Health to understand data needs, consolidate and governance data assets, develop business intelligence reporting and support data-driven decision-making processes. The individual will be an expert on Kensington’s data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity and optimal use across the organization. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data & Insights Specialist will play an important role in collecting, analyzing, reporting and interpreting data to provide actionable insights. This role will work with all departments at Kensington Health to understand data needs, consolidate and governance data assets, develop business intelligence reporting and support data-driven decision-making processes. The individual will be an expert on Kensington’s data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity and optimal use across the organization. - $71,370.00 - $85,644.00 commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualize, design, develop and document data models, performance metrics and Business Intelligence reports for standardized reporting and in-depth analysis.
- Serve as the go-to expert on the organization’s data, understanding its sources, structure and interpretation.
- Translate business needs into data acquisition strategies and reporting requirements.
- Gather data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness, ensuring data collection methods align with organizational objectives and reporting standards.
- Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards to identify trends and insights.
- Incorporate emerging technologies and methodologies, including artificial intelligence, into data analysis and reporting practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to learn with a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, Business Intelligence or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization software and data mining (e.g. SQL, T-SQL, Power BI, Excel, etc.)
- Proficiency in ETL processes and reporting technologies (e.g. Scripts, SSRS, web-enabled reporting, SSAS for OLAP databases, etc.)
- Experience developing database architecture, including data warehouses for information system projects.
- Experience with Database Integration Engines, Database Management and maintenance.
- Electronic Medical Record and/or Healthcare Integration (e.g. HL7, FHIR, API integration) is preferred.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION/CERTIFICATE
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business or a related field.
