Job Title: Specialist - Quality Engineering
Working Model: Hybrid – Onsite: 3 day’s Work from Office - 2 days mandatory Tuesday & Wednesday, 1 day flexible any day from Monday, Thursday, or Friday.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
Must have Insurance Industry Knowledge or Familiarity with insurance industry regulations and standards particularly in relation to GISA Facility Association and GAA
Deep understanding of Policy lifecycle
Regulatory Business Knowledge
Test Analysis Validation Skills
Data Analysis: SQL Expertise Develop and Execute Test Plans Create and implement detailed test plans to ensure software and systems meet regulatory standards specific to the insurance industry
Compliance Testing: Conduct tests to verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations including data privacy cybersecurity and financial reporting standards
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports on test results compliance status and any issues identified during testing
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing
Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Training: Provide training and guidance to other team members on regulatory compliance and testing procedures
Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle
Carried out Manual and Automated Testing Windows Web based applications
Experience in developing Software Test Plans based on User Requirements Specification and System
Extensive skills in writing Test Scripts and reviewing scripts
Expertise in reporting and tracking bugs using Jira and Test Track tools
Expertise in Agile Methodologies
Intensive experience in development and review of test strategy test planning test specification test estimation test execution and test coordination
Experience in Test Completion Reports Weekly Status Reports Daily Status Reports Management defect management
Excels in end-to-end Testing System Integration Testing System Testing Regression Testing Business Functionality Testing and Integration Testing
Technical Skills (Secondary)
An energetic self-motivated professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management take responsibility for test deliverables timely status reporting to management issue escalations
