Job description and tasks
In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:

Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College

Participation in departmental meetings

Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.

Performing other department related administrative duties
Required Qualifications

Master's in History/Classics or equivalent
-
Knowledge of research methods in the social sciences strongly recommended
-
Teaching experience at the College level an asset
-
Excellent English communication skills essential

General knowledge of French is an asset

Dawson College is an English-language Collège d’enseignement général et professionnel (CEGEP) located in Westmount, Quebec. It is situated near the heart of downtown Montreal in a former nunnery on approximately 12 acres of green space. It is the largest CEGEP in the province of Quebec, with a student population of approximately 8,000 day students and 3,000 evening students enrolled in more than 30 fields of study.
