Employment: 6-Month Contract + extension or conversion

Location: Hybrid Any Office (Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Guelph, Montreal, Quebec City, Regina, or Calgary)

Rate: $68-$70 per Hour

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Integration Specialist to provide technical leadership on enterprise data modernization initiatives within the Business Intelligence team. This role will play a critical part in driving the organization's evolution toward modern data and integration platforms, including API consolidation, Spark adoption, and the migration of legacy solutions from R to Python-based frameworks. The successful candidate will partner closely with architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design scalable solutions while mentoring team members and establishing best practices across the organization. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior technical leader who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, influencing architecture decisions, and guiding teams through large-scale transformation initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, Software Engineering, etc.

• Experience leading enterprise-scale data migration, modernization, or integration initiatives

• Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing REST APIs

• Python

• Exposure to Databricks

• Exposure to Apache Spark and large-scale data transformation frameworks

• Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and project oversight

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
