About the role
The Capital Markets Operations Department is thriving, with innovative initiatives, a stimulating environment offering many opportunities for learning and collaboration. As application delivery manager, you help direct material, time, IT and human resources on initiatives to meet objectives on time and on budget. You analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams. You supervise and coordinate contributors involved in delivering the application and technology component of innovative, large-scale projects. You ensure timelines and budgets are respected. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Plan activities and deliverables and estimate project costs, taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners and tie-ins with other projects.
- Supervise and coordinate contributors involved in delivery, including outside suppliers.
- Ensure team performance and quality control and identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures.
- Coordinate deliverables.
- Ensure agreements, budgets and timelines are respected.
- Ensure performance and alignment with established priorities.
- Analyze risks and impacts for projects and develop strategies to address them to manage risk levels.
- Work with the product owner to manage change requests, solution testing and implementation strategies for the application and technology component.
- Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms.
- Prepare executive reports to the standards expected.
- Forward relevant information to managers in the event of delays or issues.
- Work closely with the business line.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Experience working in agile and waterfall environments
- Experience delivering technology projects
- Experience in a scrum master role
- Experience in contract management and operational process improvement
- Knowledge of capital markets and applications such as Murex, Bloomberg and Fidessa
- Knowledge of Jira, Excel and Microsoft Project
