We’re looking for a Manager, Marketing Operations to support our VP of Growth Marketing and help make our team run smarter and stronger. In this newly created role, you’ll keep the engine running behind the scenes—making sure campaigns are tracked, budgets are managed, processes are smooth, and results are clear.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we plan and spend our budget, improve how work gets done, and measure the impact of everything we do. You’ll also help drive team learning and resource planning so we’re always ready for what’s next.

Major Elements Of The Role Simplify Marketing Processes
- Optimize and streamline workflows (e.g., red folder process, monthly dashboard reporting) to be intuitive and efficient for user teams.
- Identify and reduce operational friction and collaboration drag (work processes, feedback process, unclear decision-making accountability) across marketing functions.
- Ensure marketing activities are effectively measured and aligned to business goals.
Oversee Marketing Budget Prioritization
- Support the VP of Growth Marketing and marketing leadership in making timely, informed investment decisions across resources, vendors, agencies, media, and martech.
- Assist with budget planning and spend prioritization in line with financial and originations goals
- Promote accountability throughout the fiscal year and ensure alignment with enterprise financial management and cost-optimization strategies.
Measure Marketing’s Impact
- Deliver reliable data and insights to support the VP in demonstrating marketing’s value to the organization.
- Maintain and evolve performance measurement frameworks to continuously optimize marketing’s effectiveness and impact.
Support Marketing’s Learning Agenda and Team Upskilling
- Partner with the VP, Growth Marketing to support team development through a structured learning agenda (e.g., martech, GenAI, strategic thinking), helping to identify capability gaps and suggest growth opportunities, while encouraging participation and informal knowledge sharing.
Scale Marketing’s Resources
- Drive the business case for expanding or reallocating marketing resources—both external and internal—to scale capabilities aligned with evolving business needs.
- Partner with the VP to establish and enforce streamlined, strategic management processes for vendors, agencies, and internal teams, including regular business and budget reviews.
Skills And Experience Required
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services marketing, preferably with knowledge of the Canadian mortgage market and home-secured lending products.
- University degree, college diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to analyze, streamline, and simplify marketing workflows to boost efficiency and reduce friction.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and spend prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining marketing performance dashboards, with the ability to analyze data sets and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Self-driven character, including innate curiosity, desire to learn in a fast-paced environment, achievement orientation, and a strong desire to continuously improve the status quo and make a real impact on our Company’s success
