About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an organized and customer-centric Collections Officer to perform a critical role on the EconoLease Collections team. In this position you will manage a portfolio of entities in arrears, help minimize financial losses by resolving outstanding payments, and connect with our customers and Collections Partners to ensure the best possible outcome for all parties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated by risk assessment, proactive problem solving, and helping customers get back on track with a respectful and understanding approach.
In this role, the key responsibilities include
Achieve economically desired outcomes on customers within individual arrears portfolio analyzing each case meticulously. This includes working files not necessarily in your individual portfolio at times, as determined by the Collections Manager. Keep management informed and up to date, flagging any potential risks likely to have a significant financial impact on the arrears portfolio/business. Display consistent business acumen and be confident in asset resolution / difficult conversations with customers. The objective being to quickly resolve matters as and when they fall due. Other duties, as required, that lead to the effective and efficient running of the overall Collections function. These duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in the development and implementation across the team of new and revised processes, procedures, and systems. Meet individual and team key performance indicators.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience in a collections role or experience in a customer facing role with transferable skills (minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred). Ability to make decisions quickly. An effective communicator that is able to relate to customers and other stakeholders, both internal and external. High level of analytical skills. The ability to gain solid working knowledge of the EconoLease product suite and the systems and processes of the Silver Chef Group.
