Primary Manufacturing Associate
About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Primary Manufacturing Associate is responsible for operating CNC press brake machines and related equipment to fabricate parts that meet precise specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate CNC press brakes (e.g., Cincinnati Auto Form) and other fabrication machinery as part of the production process. Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material specifications. Set up tooling, load programs and configure machine settings to ensure optimal performance. Inspect tools and materials to confirm they are safe and suitable for use. Fabricate parts in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances. Perform secondary operations such as sawing, punching, laser cutting, and tube bending as needed. Prepare finished products for shipment and handle materials (up to 60 lbs.) manually or using hoists. Maintain high standards of workplace organization, safety, and collaboration in line with company expectations.
Requirements
2+ years of experience operating and programming a Cincinnati Auto Form or similar press brake machine. High school diploma or GED is required. Experience with CNC equipment and sheet metal fabrication strongly preferred. Solid understanding of tooling and tool maintenance. Familiarity with materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Experience with Laser cutting/NC shear punch/NC Tube bending/Laser tube cutting is considered a strong asset. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tape measures, and calipers.
