We are looking for talented Banking Business Analysts / Product Owners across multiple levels (Senior, Principal, Lead) with expertise either in Digital Banking or CRM or LOS (Loan Origination Systems). You will play a key role in delivering projects and translating business needs into actionable solutions.
What you will be doing:
Lead and facilitate structured requirements‑gathering sessions with business stakeholders, product owners, and operational teams Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, process reviews, and data analysis Develop and maintain high‑quality BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows aligned with VeriPark delivery standards Translate business needs into actionable functional requirements and map them to end‑to‑end business processes and solution capabilities Conduct gap analysis, evaluate solution approaches, and outline problems, opportunities, and recommended improvements Prioritize requirements based on business value, regulatory needs, customer impact, and feasibility Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Product Team and relevant technical teams such as architecture, UX, development, and QE to ensure accurate understanding and successful implementation of requirements Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT by providing clarifications and validating functional outputs (For senior/lead positions) Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, lead requirement streams, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure consistent quality and alignment across the delivery lifecycle
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred. 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst or Product Owner within the retail/SME lending, digital banking, CRM or banking technology domain. Ability to use AI in day-to-day tasks. Knowledge of Canadian financial ecosystem (major banks, credit unions, fintech partnerships, and data providers) preferred. Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation or system implementation projects in financial institutions. Deep understanding of SME and retail lending products and their end-to-end origination lifecycle or with strong expertise in digital banking (mobile banking, internet banking) platforms or CRM solutions for end‑to‑end customer relationship management. Proven ability to influence and align diverse business and technology stakeholders, combining strong consulting skills with the capability to translate strategy into executable solutions. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
