The job involves:
- Providing high quality transportation service in all weather conditions
- Cleaning, inspecting and maintaining vehicles
- Stocking and ensuring vehicle is serviceable prior to each trip, maintaining manual logs for internal and external services
- Utilizing GPS devices
- Working alongside Dispatchers to communicate run information
- Driving in high volume traffic on highways
- Lifting up to 35 lbs on a regular basis
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
- Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- Valid Ontario License Class “F” without any restrictions or major infractions
- Clean driver’s abstract (obtained at Ministry of Transportation)
- Smart Serve Certificate
- The ability to obtain a Nexus card and a Police Services Board license
- Knowledge of the Niagara Region and outlying districts including the Greater Toronto Area and Buffalo
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent decision making skills and strict attention to detail
- The ability to speak multiple languages an asset
