About the role

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Employer's home. Remote location. Room and board provided. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Care for pets. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Help children with homework. Cook. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children. Experience with special needs children: Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD). Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check. Criminal record check. Reference required. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer. Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence.
