Les responsabilités principales de chaque poste est d'offrire des services d'admission téléphonique pour la Société, compléter l'évaluation initiale et la documentation sur les cas référés. Ceci est un poste syndiqué (CUPE 5319).
The Job
This posting is for two permanent Bilingual Intake Phone Assessor positions based either from the Barrie or Hunstville Intake offices. The incumbent will report to the Intake Service Manager and will have primary responsibilities for handling telephone intake responsibilities for the Society, completing initial assessment and documentation on referred cases. This is a CUPE Local 5319 Bargaining Unit position.
Compétences
- Diplôme d'études postsecondaires dans un programme de service social ou diplôme équivalent. Expérience de travail avec des populations à risque est un atout.
- Une connaissance profonde de la gestion de cas de protection de l'enfance et la Loi sur les services à l'enfance et à la famille.
- Capacité avérée à évaluer avec précision les risques en fonction des informations concernant l’admission.
- Aptitude démontrée à évaluer et soutenir les personnes en situation de risque.
- Excellente communication interpersonnelle, orale et écrite.
- La capacité de bien gérer son temps et de travailler sous pression.
- Compréhension et capacité de travailler avec une collectivité diversifiée.
- Il est important de bien comprendre les valeurs et les principes de lutte contre l’oppression.
- Il faut obligatoirement être bilingue (français / anglais); les compétences seront testés.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary diploma in a Social Services Worker Program or related degree/diploma. Experience working with at-risk populations is an asset.
- Ability to accurately assess risk based on intake information.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and support people in risk situations.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A thorough understanding of anti-oppression values and principles
- An appreciation of and ability to work with a diverse community.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required, proficiency will be tested.
Rémunération
Le salaire, qui varie entre 56 559$ et 69 783$, selon expérience, est doté d'un ensemble d'avantages sociaux généreux, de vacances et d'allocations pour des absences autorisées.
Compensation
The salary range is $56,559 to $69,783 commensurate with experience, with a generous benefits package, vacation and leave provisions.
