Intermediate Power BI & SQL Analyst

*This role does not have a visa sponsorship option; it also requires 1-2 days a week working from the office in Downtown Toronto** This is a contract role until the end of the year 2025 with a strong possibility of further extension**

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

• Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.

• Support the design of data architecture structures to support BI initiatives

• Assist in the development of business intelligence reports and operational analytics capabilities, including but not limited to:

• trends and projections of operational performance indicators (e.g., resource consumption, utilization)

• Operational data quality analysis (e.g., data quality metrics, metrics, root cause analysis in areas such as customer).

Here's What You Need:

• At least experience as a BI Developer or Analyst of minimum of 5 yrs experience

• Experience in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling)

• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (extract, transform, load) framework,

• Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience creating Power BI reports based on business needs with linked content, in-depth analytics, and nested parameters.
