Assistant/Associate Full Professor, Academic Malignant Hematologist

Position Description
The Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time academic malignant hematologist to join the Division of Hematology. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide clinical care in malignant hematology, including inpatient and outpatient services.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in malignant hematology.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the Division and Department.
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or equivalent.
- Certification in Hematology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Preferred:
- Experience in clinical trials and translational research.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is available immediately.
