About the role
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify structural, mechanical, electrical, and or cosmetic issues. Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals to accurately pinpoint problems and execute effective repairs. Complete structural and cosmetic repairs, including body and framework, panel replacement, bumpers, suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, and heating/cooling systems. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for body, frame, or component repairs. Collaborate closely with estimators, painters, and fellow technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and quality standards are met or exceeded. Document all work performed using shop software (body shop connect) and maintain accurate repair records. Stay up to date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques. Troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions to ensure vehicle safety, performance, and appearance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Foster a positive team atmosphere of knowledge sharing, assisting colleagues, and communicating effectively to prioritize tasks.
Requirements
Licensed technician from Skills trades Ontario or Red Seal
Experience in collision repair Excellent problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and focused on quality of work Comfortable with structural repairs, welding, aluminum work and assembly/ disassembly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Team player with a strong work ethic Some qualifications are non-compulsory. We are looking for a loyal, hard-working and passionate person ready to support our work
