School District No. 22 is currently hiring a meal coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY: 1 hour per day, 5 hours per week, 10 month position Anticipated schedule: Monday to Friday 10:50 am to 11:50 am (Variable inside school hours)

POSITION DUTES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort lunches to division categories and ensure timely distribution to participants
• Ensure health regulations are followed
• Ensure unused portions are sorted and stored according to health regulations
• Ensure work place is maintained according to health regulations
• Student Supervision including explaining procedures to helpers/runners
• Photocopy and distribute monthly newsletter and program envelop to all students
• Receive all monies
• Ensure safe keeping of all signed envelopes and monies
• Create and maintain records and lists of all participants of program
• Communicate with students, staff and others

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 10 Education
• Food Safe Certificate
• Previous Experience

WAGE: 25.45

SHIFT: Anticipated schedule: Monday to Friday 10:50 am to 11:50 am with services not being required on In-Service and Non-Instructional Days.

This is a unionized position, CUPE Local 5523 and the hourly rate of pay is $25.45 plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.
