About the role
The Inside Sales Position will be responsible for creating, developing and driving sales in line with the Companies Profitable Sales Growth objectives.
In addition to serving as a business development partner, candidate will build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, and effectively communicate with all appropriate internal departments/personnel. The successful candidate may evolve to an outside sales role.
Responsibilities:

Identify, qualify and sell new customers
-
Introduce and sell product innovation to current customers
-
Introduce and sell product categories to current customers who purchase elsewhere
-
Replace competitive products of non-preferred vendors with preferred vendor products
-
Upsell current customers to new or replacement products available
-
Educate and communicate with customers about upcoming promotions, specials and new items
-
Communicate to purchasing department increases or decreases in demand for products
-
Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
-
Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts
-
Attend sales meetings and meet with sales manager on a regular basis
-
Communicate and collaborate in a productive manner with all departments
-
Utilize all appropriate Selling techniques and methodologies
-
Implement new services that help improve our customers business: i.e. move customers from phone orders to E-Commerce
Requirements:
-
A college or university degree or diploma
-
Effectively deliver both verbal and written communication unscripted
-
Complete CRM responsibilities without losing focus on your main objective which is selling
-
Possess strong selling skills
-
Help support and supplement a positive customer experience with strong organizational skills
-
Proven track record with a minimum 2 years of telephone selling experience; preferably in at least one of the following markets: Cleaning and Hygiene, Industrial Sales, Health Care, Food Service

Required to work independently, with minimal supervision
-
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside customers
-
Exceptional analytical, organizational and oral/written communication skills
-
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required
-
Candidate should have a valid driver license and good record
