Novatech is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our established and growing team. What You’ll Do
-
Develop storm drainage and stormwater management for small- and large-scale land development and municipal infrastructure projects (urban & rural)

Produce designs for storm drainage, stormwater treatment, and other water resources related projects
-
Complete hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis of geospatial data
-
Apply current industry practices and standards to undertake engineering analysis following approved standards and procedures.

Compose stormwater management reports
-
Support multi-disciplinary teams including civil engineers, planners and landscape architects in projects relating to infrastructure in urban and rural settings.

Participate in meetings with the public, municipalities, and approvals agencies.

Collaborate and share experience on past projects and water resources engineering knowledge within the team and the office.
Skills & Experience You’ll Need
-
Proficient in the following software: SWMHYMO/Visual OTTHYMO; PCSWMM/EPA SWMM; HEC-RAS (open channel hydraulics); AutoCAD/Civil 3D; GIS; Microsoft Office Suite

Broad knowledge of hydrologic & hydraulic modeling principles and their application

Proficiency in the design of urban and rural drainage systems, including low-impact development design

Strong verbal, written communication and technical writing skills

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
-
A commitment to excellence and high-quality work with strong attention to detail and accuracy

4-5 years of work experience in related Water Resources engineering
Education and Accreditation Required

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Water Resources
-
P.Eng.
Compensation/Work Arrangements
-
Salary Range: $95,000 - $100,00 annually. Salary offered will be based on education, experience, and skills
