evo Rentals Retail Sales & Service Supervisor

We are looking for a passionate and people-first Retail Supervisor to help lead our Whistler team through exceptional guest experiences, strong operational execution, and community-driven leadership.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and support Retail Associates, Cashiers, and store support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain team members while supporting ongoing employee development and performance management.
- Provide consistent coaching, feedback, recognition, and accountability to support individual and team growth.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and open communication aligned with evo’s values and The Great 8.
- Support staffing coverage and operational consistency across evo Whistler locations as needed.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring exceptional guest service across all touchpoints.
- Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers while ensuring smooth execution of daily operations.
- Assign team members to duties and prepare optimized work schedules based on traffic trends and operational needs.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, actively supporting retail, rental, and guest service operations during peak business periods.
- Resolve customer concerns, escalated issues, returns, and supply shortages in a professional and solutions-oriented manner.
- Authorize payments, refunds, exchanges, and return of merchandise in accordance with company policy.
- Support store opening and closing procedures, keyholder responsibilities, and signing for deliveries when required.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved across order fulfillment, guest communication, and operational workflows.
- Maintain evo’s visual merchandising standards including displays, signage, cleanliness, and overall store presentation.
- Support service operations by coordinating routine maintenance schedules, vendor servicing, and operational oversight of large equipment and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted store operations.
- Maintain awareness of equipment condition and facility needs across rental, retail, and service environments, proactively escalating repair, safety, or operational concerns as needed.
Rental Business & Community Engagement
- Partner closely with the Sales & Referral Manager to support rental business growth, maximize booking conversion, strengthen partner relationships, and deliver a seamless guest experience across all rental touchpoints.
- Support execution of referral and partnership initiatives with hotels, tourism partners, concierges, and local businesses to drive awareness and rental revenue growth.
- Lead and support community events hosted through evo Rentals in partnership with brand partners, local organizations, and non-profit groups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute local marketing initiatives and activations that strengthen evo’s presence within the Whistler community.
- Monitor guest feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction.
Inventory, Merchandising & Financial Accountability
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, replenishment processes, receiving, transfers, and loss prevention procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate merchandise orders to support business demands and seasonal trends.
- Utilize reporting and business analytics to support operational decision making and sales performance.
- Prepare and support reporting related to sales performance, merchandising, staffing, and operational trends.
- Support expense management and labor efficiency while maintaining a strong employee and guest experience.
Requirements:
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- 4+ years of experience within retail, rental, or customer-focused environments, including demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced specialty retail or multi-channel business.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for employee growth, coaching, and team development.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with retail operations including cash handling, merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and scheduling.
- Ability to analyze reporting and business trends to support operational decision making.
- Comfortable working with POS systems, scheduling platforms, Microsoft Office, and retail technology systems.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to problem solve and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for outdoor sports, community engagement, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.

What You’ll Get to Do:
