Reporting into the Director, Lease Administration and Audit Services, this is a full-time opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario. The Lease Administration Analyst will play an integral part in the day-to-day administration of dentalcorp’ s lease portfolio (590+ locations). Duties include administration and monitoring of lease payments, CAM audits, lease data input and landlord correspondence/negotiation.

In this role, you will

  • Analyse and review annual landlord reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy and lease compliance
  • Analyse and review yearly rental advise notices/ escalations and real estate tax invoices provided by Landlords.
  • Data entry, validation and management of lease documents and invoices in the real estate database (Visual Lease)
  • Rent variance analysis and rent/ invoice payment processing.
  • Preparation of monthly reports and uploads to ensure accurate rent payment to landlords.
  • Interpret commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, assignments, and subleases)
  • Resolve landlord/tenant issues as it relates to rent/invoicing of rent/ invoices and ensuring compliance with the lease terms.
  • Manage practice and landlord relationships and Interact with the construction/maintenance, operations, legal and finance departments as necessary.
  • Other related duties assigned from time to time.

What we’re looking for:

  • University or College Degree in related discipline, preferably Real Estate, Commerce/Business and/or Accounting
  • Real Estate Licence or training will be an asset
  • 2+ years of work experience in lease administration, property accounting, or property management, including review/interpretation of complex lease documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time-management and administration skills with a high-level of attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
