Registered Nurse – Long Term Care
Location: Oyster Harbour Seniors Community, Ladysmith, BC
Rotation is a 0.4 FTE Nights. 2 weekdays and 1 weekend ever 2 weeks.

Position Summary
As a Casual Licensed Nurse (RN), you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, applying your clinical judgment and nursing expertise to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort for every resident. Must be available for Day, Evening and Night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document care and maintain accurate records in accordance with Park Place policies.
- Support residents and families through education and emotional support.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN
- Experience in long-term care or gerontology preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
