Apex Aluminum is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. With a 170,000 square foot aluminum extrusion facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry, Apex can offer custom extrusions, mill finish aluminum and anodized aluminum to satisfy the most demanding customer and all architectural needs.

We are actively seeking next level players and are currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative for our manufacturing facility. Our goal is to strive for perfection and to provide the quality our customers deserve!
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support. Working closely with our outside sales reps, operations team and handling administration tasks to strengthen relationships and provide the best for our customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of B2B purchase orders.
- Process orders with high level of accuracy.
- Assist with administrative tasks which include, but are not limited to, scanning documents, arranging couriers, answering phones, and filing.
- Order verification to ensure all necessary details are present and correct.
- Understanding our pricing guide and customer pricing set up.
- Sending customer reports and price sheets.
- Order tracking to ensure fulfilment of delivery.
- Coordinating customer requirements with internal departments.
- Order modifications as requested by customers.
- Accurately create new customer parts. Meticulously ensuring part information is correct.
- Updating customer and part data to reflect current information.
- Becoming an expert in order information on our ERP system.
- Understanding our customer and departmental lead times.
- Working with Quality department to process corrective actions.
- Entering and closing RMA orders for material returns.
- Invoicing die charges and credits.
- Review and monitor ongoing priority orders.
- Verify customer credit information.
- Review packaging drawings as needed.
- Document management to maintain up to date order and customer records.
- Adhere to company’s policies and procedures.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of order entry experience in a B2B manufacturing company.
- Minimum 2+ years using an ERP system in manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
- Meet deadlines, follow up and report if there are delays.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritize in an environment with multiple changing priorities.
- Identify issues and generate solutions.
- Add value by being a strong team player.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability based on customer requirements.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills. Being able to prioritize is key.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to embrace new technologies and systems, yet capable of following existing procedures.
- Exceptional email etiquette.
- Must be able to exercise a moderate amount of independent judgement.
- Be reliable, motivated, organized and be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced team-driven positive environment. An ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to changing requirements.
