About the role
We are looking for our main bartender will have to work 25 to 35 hours per week, Night shifts 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Take beverage orders from guests (if applicable).

Prepare beverage orders rung-in by servers.
-
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse Drink Recipe Book.

Record drink orders accurately and immediately enter them into the POS system.
-
Accept guest payment; process credit, debit and/or gift card charges and make change (if applicable).
-
Wash and sterilize and polish glassware.
-
Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish as needed.
-
Maintain appropriate levels of fresh fruit prep.
-
Maintain bottles and glassware in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
-
Present drink menus make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages (if applicable).
-
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glasswashers and storage areas.

Ensure food safe practices are always used.

Ensure wine bottle dating system is maintained.
-
Wipe down front of bar and storage shelf near the bar at end of every service shift.
-
Wipe down ice machine.
-
Sweep and mop underneath ice well sink and underneath bar glass-washer.
-
Wipe down chest or stand-up freezer and all sides of the small black wine coolers
-
Wipe down all doors and rubber seals of bar coolers and storage areas.
-
Perform daily side duties as per the posted checklist and initial once work has been complete.

Perform weekly side duties as per the posted checklist and initial once work has been completed.

Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to manager on duty. Do restocking and replenishing of bar inventory and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Be of legal age in the province of employment.
- Possess corresponding provincial liquor handling certification.
- Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
- Possess basic math skills and be able to handle money and operate a POS.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up-to 40 pounds.
