About the Role
Highclere Capital is seeking a Financial & Treasury Analyst to support the company’s funding, financial reporting, analysis, and operational finance activities. This role plays an important part in helping to manage the company’s funding relationships, ensuring accurate financial data, supporting monthly reporting processes, and providing insights that help guide business decisions.
The role will also gain exposure to the negotiation, closing, maintenance, and relationship management aspects of Highclere’s capital markets and other funding relationships while supporting senior leadership on these activities.
Working closely with finance leadership and internal stakeholders, the Financial & Treasury Analyst will assist with financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and performance analysis while helping improve the efficiency and reliability of financial operations. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys managing relationships, working with data, solving problems, and contributing to a growing organization in the financial services sector.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting and management reports
- Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting financial performance
- Prepare supporting schedules and financial analysis used in internal reporting
- Develop and maintain reporting models and analytical tools to support business insights
- Provide financial analysis to support business initiatives, product performance, and operational decision-making
Financial Operations
- Prepare journal entries and assist with the monthly close process
- Maintain account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies
- Support the preparation of accruals and financial adjustments as part of the reporting cycle
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records across company entities
Funding Activities
- Support senior management in the execution and administration of the company’s funding programs and capital partner relationships
- Assist with monitoring and analyzing the company’s residential mortgage funding mix, including understanding the profitability and operational considerations of different funding channels
- Prepare analysis and reporting related to funding facilities, securitizations, or other capital markets activities as required
- Conduct financial and quantitative analysis to support funding and capital allocation decisions
Governance & Controls
- Support the maintenance of strong financial controls and documentation processes
- Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as required
- Ensure financial information is recorded in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, processes, and data accuracy
- Support the enhancement of financial reporting tools and systems
- Assist with the automation and streamlining of finance processes where possible
- Support the development of financial dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with clearer visibility into portfolio performance and operational trends
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams to investigate financial trends and operational variances
- Provide financial insights and data support to business stakeholders
- Participate in finance projects and other ad-hoc initiatives as required
Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, treasury, or financial reporting
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technology aptitude with the ability to leverage financial systems, data tools, and Excel to improve reporting and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information clearly
Preferred
- Progress toward or completion of a CPA designation
- Experience within financial services, lending, or banking environments
- Exposure to capital markets, securitization programs, funding facilities, or capital partner reporting
- Experience with financial reporting or data tools such as Power BI or similar platforms

Additional Information
- The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- This role is eligible to participate in Highclere Capital’s annual bonus program
