The Role: The Manager, Analytics & BI supports acquisition analytics across Credit Card and Unsecured Lending portfolios, with a focus on data-driven insights, performance measurement, and strategic recommendations to help grow the customer base profitably. This includes analytics related to acquisition tracking, account quality by channel or partner, prospect opportunities, product mix, and portfolio performance. The incumbent collaborates with business, marketing, risk, finance, operations, and technology partners to translate data into actionable recommendations that support acquisition strategy, portfolio optimization, and business decision-making. Is this role right for you? - In this role you will:
Acquisition Strategy, Tracking & Data-Driven Insights: Support all aspects of acquisition analytics across Credit Card and Unsecured Lending portfolios, including acquisition tracking, campaign performance, product mix, and customer growth opportunities. Provide strategic analytical support for acquisition-related initiatives, including prospect targeting, channel or partner performance, account quality assessment, and portfolio growth opportunities. Analyze acquisition quality by channel, partner, product, and customer segment to identify profitable growth opportunities and emerging risks. Evaluate new campaign ideas, size opportunities, build business cases, and provide go/no go recommendations based on P&L impact. Partner with modeling, segmentation, and data teams to enhance prospect identification, targeting effectiveness, and measurement for acquisition and cross-sell programs. Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives, projects, and ad hoc analysis requests from internal stakeholders and external partners. Reporting, Insights & Portfolio Analytics: Lead measurement and reporting of acquisition performance, account quality, engagement, and portfolio outcomes, translating results into clear insights and recommendations to improve business results. Identify key acquisition and portfolio trends using advanced analytics, including channel, partner, prospect, and product-level performance, and communicate findings to partners and senior leadership. Provide regular and ad-hoc analytical support on acquisition performance, profitability, account quality, and customer behavior in partnership with Product, Finance, Risk, Marketing, and business teams. Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends to assess their impact on portfolio performance and profitability. Work with Global Risk Management to understand risk drivers and support strategies that balance growth, risk, and return.
Customer Focus, Risk Management & Controls: Champion a customer focused culture and leverage broader bank capabilities to deepen client relationships. Consider the Bank’s risk appetite, policies, and controls in day to day decisions and analysis. Ensure effective business controls, including operational risk, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF, and conduct risk, in alignment with the Bank’s risk frameworks.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. MBA, CFA, FRM, or Master’s in Analytics preferred. 4+ years of experience in Analytics, Marketing, or Finance, with strong analytical and statistical skills. Solid understanding of the bank’s lending products (Credit Cards, Lines of Credit) and familiarity with Risk Management practices. Proficiency with analytical tools and technologies, including GCP/Big Data environments, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and Excel. Proven ability to extract, interpret, and translate data into meaningful, actionable business insights. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences. Excellent prioritization, planning, presentation, project management, people leadership, and relationship‑building skills; consulting experience is an asset.
