As an Inspector - Office Administrator, you will support complex highway construction projects across Ontario. Your work will help shape safer transportation corridors and contribute to infrastructure that keeps communities connected. You will provide mentorship, documentation expertise, and field‑based insight as part of a collaborative project team
Your Impact
- Support PM/CA/ACA teams in delivering projects in alignment with MTO Construction Administration and Inspection Specifications (CAIS)
- Manage digital and physical project documentation, including CMS/SharePoint filing, deliverables, and daily correspondence
- Prepare payment inputs, quantity calculations, contract finalizations, meeting minutes, status reports, INCs, COs/OPAs, and MTO summaries
- Assist in preparing detailed Change Order cost estimates and evaluating schedule impacts
- Review contract documents to anticipate contractor operations, schedules, and compliance requirements
- Review test results, calculate Penalty/Bonus payments, and identify required remedial actions
- Act as a professional representative of WSP while liaising with contractors, property owners, and the public
- Ensure contractor compliance with legal, environmental, wildlife protection, OHSA, WHMIS, and DG/Waste Management regulations
- Perform, when needed, QA acceptance for grading, concrete, asphalt, electrical, granular materials, and weigh scale monitoring
- Travel throughout Ontario for extended periods to support field contracts.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- OACETT certification with Road Construction Senior Inspector (RCSI) designation
- Experience as an Office Administrator on highway or road construction projects (3–5 completed projects or equivalent)
- Knowledge of MTO contract documents, OPSS standards, CSA standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Familiarity with CMS (Kahua) and proficiency with CAS, HDS/InRoads, MS Word, Excel, Project, and Access
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within PM/CA/ACA teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to resolve routine technical issues
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT : $66,700 – $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC : $60,300 – $80,000
