Muiriosa Foundation are seeking social care workers to work as part of a dynamic team supporting in our Residential Services in Westmeath. We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic social care workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals with an intellectual disability to lead a fulfilling life. The roster will include days, weekends, waking nights and sleepovers. Candidates should hold a relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications) and be registered with CORU, or have commenced the registration process. Various contract hours are available. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to be available for any of day, weekend, waking night duty and ‘sleep-over / over-night’ shifts in our residential services. In addition, we require staff members to be willing to work alone in the residents’ homes and to be flexible to work across all locations and move as priorities change.
