About the role
Scissor Lift Operator We are currently hiring Scissor Lift Operators for one of our clients in Sarnia, ON. This is a temporary assignment with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance and business needs. Location: Sarnia, ON Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Pay Rate: $25.00/hour Job Duties Operate a boom lift safely and efficiently. Install protective tarps inside construction sites. Remove and clean up tarp barriers after work is completed. Lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 lbs. Perform general labour duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, kneeling, and reaching. Work safely at heights on elevated platforms. Follow all site safety rules and procedures. Travel to different construction sites as required. Requirements Previous experience operating a boom lift or scissor lift. Valid Boom Lift/Scissor Lift certification. Comfortable working at heights of 20 feet (6 metres) or more. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment. Interior protection or tarping experience is an asset but not required.
