GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for identifying opportunities, as well as the planning and execution of the complete sale. This individual must excel at delivering excellent customer service to potential and existing customers. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations group to maintain a positive atmosphere and culture that is strong and vibrant. It is important to have a solid community presence that will build strong working relationships. As a Field Sales Representative with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Establishing, maintaining, and managing working relationships with customers
- Working closely with potential customers to find solutions that meet their specific needs
- Working closely with the Sales team to provide; pricing, conduct contract negotiations, and obtain trucking quotes
- Daily communication with Operation and Area Sales Managers to discuss pricing and opportunities
- Ability to forecast on a monthly basis with facility managers
- Ability to manage customers accounts receivables
- Working closely with Regulatory, Administrative Assistants and the Operations team
- Planning and implementation of customer development and retention strategies
- Constant involvement with the local community, establishing and building relationships within the community
- Work with Area Sales Manager on KPI’s put in place for field staff
- Understand and be able to sell all R360 Canada site – Caverns, TRD’s, and Landfills
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- A High School diploma or General Education Diploma is required; additional post-secondary education is considered an asset
- A valid driver’s license
- A minimum of 3- 5 years of energy service sales
- Operational experience
- Previous experience in oil marketing is considered to be an asset
- Established contacts within the industry is considered an asset
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
