About the role

Spruce is looking for a highly organized, collaborative Project Coordinator to help bring brands, websites, campaigns, and communications initiatives to life.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys keeping projects moving, coordinating teams, and turning ideas into action. It's also an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to build experience in project management, communications, and client service. You'll work closely with our strategists, designers, developers, and account managers to deliver meaningful work for clients across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

As Project Coordinator, you'll oversee project timelines, coordinate internal teams, support client communications, and help ensure deliverables are completed on time and on budget. You'll also contribute to communications planning and content development, supporting everything from social media campaigns and websites to presentations and reports.

We're looking for someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, takes pride in creating clarity and structure, and is eager to learn and grow. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. What you'll do: Manage multiple projects across branding, web, communications, and campaign work Build project plans, coordinate resources, and track timelines Support client communications and day-to-day project coordination Facilitate internal meetings and manage action items Contribute to communications strategies and campaign planning Draft and coordinate content for digital, social, and client-facing materials Support reporting, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement

What we're looking for: Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Experience coordinating projects, campaigns, or communications initiatives A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in where needed

Nice to haves (not required): A post-secondary degree in marketing or communications and/or experience in an agency environment Familiarity with tools such as Basecamp, Canva, social media platforms, or project management software Ability to work in both English and French Experience with First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis communities

Salary range: Starting at $45,000-55,000 depending on experience
