**Position:**General Labourer
**Location:**Lethbridge, Alberta
This position will be an afternoon shift.
Responsibilities:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate, Load and Unload production packaging equipment on assigned line.
- Assists with line changeover, clean up and rework.
- Inspects packaging material to ensure that packaging is correct and undamaged prior to load.
- Performs any of the required tasks including palletizing, case making, bagging, lidding, packing, line supply, etc.
- Lifting up-to 20 kgs, and standing for prolonged periods of time
- Following directions as given by the supervisor.
OE/Lean
- Acts as a resource and champion for department’s continuous improvement activities
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding work.
- Previous experience in a packaging manufacturing environment preferred.
