Role Description The Marketing Intern (Japanese, Spanish, Chinese Speaking) is a contract, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC. This position involves supporting marketing campaigns aimed at international students, including creating and localizing marketing materials in Japanese, Spanish, or Chinese, and assisting with social media and digital outreach. The intern conducts market research on target regions, gathers insights on student needs, and helps track campaign performance. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with prospective students, supporting sales and customer service activities, coordinating promotional events, and collaborating with the marketing team to refine strategies and messaging.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including professional written and verbal abilities in English and fluency in at least one of Japanese, Spanish, or Chinese. Ability to conduct Market Research to understand international student trends, competitor activities, and regional education markets. Foundational Sales skills to support outreach, lead follow-up, and conversion of prospective students. Understanding of Marketing Strategy to assist in planning campaigns, segmenting audiences, and tailoring messages to different regions. Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries, provide accurate information, and maintain a positive, supportive experience for students. Interest in international education and cross-cultural communication; prior experience in an educational or consulting environment is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting in Vancouver, BC, with strong time-management and organizational skills. Relevant post-secondary studies in Marketing, Business, Communications, International Relations, or a related field are preferred.
