Position Description

As an Event Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of driving sales for our RYOBI® outdoor power tool equipment lineup out of The Home Depot, one of the world’s largest home improvement retailers. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Field Sales team, gaining hands-on experience in selling, account management, and customer engagement. It’s a fast-paced, highly rewarding opportunity that will help you build valuable skills and launch your career in an exciting, dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver exceptional sales and service to customers, showcasing knowledge and enthusiasm for RYOBI® Outdoor products.
  • Support and execute strategic brand marketing initiatives and in-store promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, TTI management, and The Home Depot team.
  • Apply skills learned through the TTI Training Program to achieve results and drive performance.
  • Lead in-store product training, demonstrations, and events to educate store associates, management, and customers.
  • Plan and execute engaging product demonstration events.
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing and collaborate with the store to secure additional merchandising space.
  • Collaborate closely with the Field Sales Rep (FSR) team to drive in-store sales, execute promotions, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

What You Will Bring

  • Access to a vehicle for the length of the 4-month work term.
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
  • Availability to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule.
  • Ability to safely lift and transport objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable reaching, lifting overhead, and ascending/descending ladders as required to handle product.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and organized, with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with common software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
