Description Studio Services Onsite Video Editor – Oshawa, Canada Wanted: dynamic and creative individuals ready to connect with a like-minded team. Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders and strategic partners to video and audio edit taped communications utilizing a wide variety of post-production tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Media Encoder, audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere)
- Graphic creator for use in live VCT, VOD, Executive town halls and other special events
- Prioritize and perform all post-production responsibilities in both English and French languages
- Coordinate and oversee the technical production of studio productions, including the set-up of cameras, audio equipment and video equipment for each event.
- Assure all video production elements (i.e. video assets) adhere to current policies / procedures, and provide support and direction on the technical aspects of studio production and equipment
- Maintain ongoing superior knowledge of non-linear editing software, graphic software, video conversion software, Mac and Windows operating systems as it relates to needs/requirements.
- Conduct regular maintenance of studio equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems that arise prior or during production.
- Liaise with outside vendors and contractors as it relates to the installation/maintenance/repair of studio equipment.
- Assist in the production of both ‘on-site’ and ‘off-site’ productions/events
- Work directly with Executives to deliver confidential and time-sensitive information in both French and English.
Required Skillsets
- This is an onsite job and requires reporting to the client office 5 days a week
- This position is located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
- 2+ years of hands-on video editing experience utilizing a wide variety of post-production tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Media Encoder, audition, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Business Administration, or a related field
